A&O Shearman Opens Global Career Opportunities at Virtual Student Event

A&O Shearman will host a virtual student and graduate event on Monday, September 7, 2026, from 4pm to 6pm, offering aspiring lawyers an opportunity to learn more about building a career in international law.

With businesses increasingly operating across multiple jurisdictions, legal professionals are being called upon to understand complex international markets and advise clients from a global perspective. Geopolitical developments are also continuing to influence where and how major transactions take place.

With close to 50 offices across 29 countries, A&O Shearman will use the event to showcase the international nature of its work and explain what future lawyers can expect from a career at the firm.

The virtual session will feature lawyers from different practice areas discussing their experiences of handling cross-border matters, along with the opportunities available to students and graduates interested in joining the firm as trainees.
