Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the parent company of Truth Social, has announced plans to launch a new subscription service that will provide paying customers with high-speed access to posts from prominent accounts on the platform, including those of US President Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., and Eric Trump.

The service, called Truth API, is scheduled to launch on August 1 and is aimed at institutional users such as financial firms. According to the company, subscribers will receive posts within milliseconds, allowing them to access information more quickly than the general public.

The announcement has drawn criticism from ethics experts and political observers, who argue that early access to presidential posts could give trading firms an advantage in financial markets. President Trump's Truth Social account has previously been used to announce major policy decisions and international developments, including updates related to the Iran conflict, which have influenced stock markets and oil prices.

Critics say the service could create conflicts of interest if investors are able to act on presidential statements before they become widely available. Some have described the proposal as an improper use of presidential influence for commercial gain.

Trump remains the largest shareholder of Trump Media, and the company says the new API service is expected to become an additional source of revenue. While TMTG confirmed it has already signed customers ahead of the launch, it has not disclosed pricing details.

The company has not clarified whether President Trump's posts will be included in the premium access service. Representatives for Trump Media and the Trump family have declined to comment on concerns that the offering could profit from the presidency.
