Woman Seriously Injured After Skoda Octavia Crashes Into Wall and Gates in Brampton
A woman was seriously injured and a 54-year-old man suffered minor injuries after a silver Skoda Octavia crashed into a wall and metal gates in Brampton. No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
The woman, a passenger from Brampton, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The 54-year-old driver, also from Brampton, was transported to the same hospital with minor injuries.
Police are now appealing for witnesses as they investigate the crash. Sergeant Duncan Hall said officers are particularly keen to speak with the driver of a dark Ford Fiesta that was not involved in the collision but left the scene without stopping. Investigators believe the driver may have seen important details that could assist the inquiry.
Officers are also asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the moments leading up to the crash to come forward and assist with the investigation.
